Idea:

When developing iWidgets, they currently are only able to run in environments that support the iWidget specification.

As there are many widget/gadget environments out there (iGoogle, Netvibes, Vista), it would be very handy to be able to publish iWidgets to these platforms. Currently there is no universal widget spec/standard and to publish iwidgets to these environments we have to create wrappers for them.

When extending the widget publishing function in MashupHub or adding an API with support for other widgets platforms it becomes easier to distribute widgets.
