When right-clicking on a link hotspot in a browser I can copy the link address to the clipboard. I would like to have this feature as well for link hotspots in the Notes client.

Domino Designer / : Make a "action menu" agent available in right-click context menu

Author: Alois Gruber
Tags: Agent right-click context menu
Idea:

If I build agents that run from the action menu, it would be convenient to have some of them available in the context menu througout the database. Just like view actions can be available in the right click context menu

Notes Client / Calendar: make the Calendar context menu consistent

Author: Paul Davies
Tags: calendar context menu
Idea:

there is an odd inconsistency with the Calendar context menu.

e.g. create an all-day event. in the Calendar - right-click the event and the full context menu appears with clipboard options

Right-click on an empty part of your calendar and you get a very short context menu with no clipboard options

However if you right-click on an existing calendar entry you get a full context menu. If you then right-click on an empty section you get the same full context menu.

This idea was originally just to ask for Paste to be added to the context menu, but now looks as though it may be a bug.

Either way - the calendar context menu needs to made consistent

Notes Client / Calendar: Multiple Out of Office notices

Author: Sean Murphy
Tags: out-of-office calendar multiple menu
Idea:

At the LCTY session in Dublin, Ireland today one o the speakers highlighted (the now known) improvement to the OOO notice and the immeadiate response issued to senders of mail to recipients. He also mentioned setting the notice in advance of an event, such as setting it for a known absence next week etc.

It got me thinking in two areas:

1. If is possible to set multiple notices? Say, for example, I know I will be away/unavailable a day this week, 3 days in a fortnights time and annual vacation in 2 months time. It would be great to set and forget these in advance.

2. The ability to set the notice directly from a calendar entry -such as 'right click' on a day/selection of days and have a drop-down menu prompt to set the notice?

Thanks,

Lotus WCM / : Allow menus to select content based on ... content field(s)

Author: Maarten Pol
Tags: wcm menu content selection
Idea:

Currently menus only allow you to select content based on authoring template, site area, keyword or category. In order to select content based on actual field values (or ranges) you need to use personalization rules. Wouldn't it be nice if these custom selections could be available straight from the menu component? Then you would be able to select all news items no older then 3 weeks, or all news items that have 'Press release' as selected type (without having to create another authoring template just for press releases).

Enable navigator components to output a valid structure tree.

This could be used for html menus, site maps, xml data and rss.

Tags in each level (Navigator result design X) should be configurable in the component setup.

Domino Designer / : Include in Menu (Form property) -> extend to right mouse click db

If we could extend this form property (include in menu) to be available when right-click a database from the workspace a lot of times we avoid that in a default frame a view is being loaded from which the index will be rebuilt first.

Okej, this is inproper application design but I see it 4 out of 5 times.

Notes Client / Core/Frameworks (Incl. sidebar, rich text editor): Style settings for the Action Bar to use for the Sub Actions menu

Author: Vlad Sh
Tags: Style Action Bar Sub Actions menu interface
Idea:

I propose for Sub Actions menu to use the same style (background color, borders and font), which is set in the properties of Action Bar. Now for Sub Actions menu used "system" style (from the operating system), even when the properties of the Action Bar indicated "Use database settings" or "Don't inherit operation system theme"; contrast awful - it's can look at an example Sub Actions views in the mailbox if operating system to determine style "Classical".

Domino Designer / : Horizontal menu Separator to group actionbuttons

Author: Patrick Kwinten
Tags: action bar actionbuttons menu view form
Idea:

The option to display an action button as a menu separator has only effect for sub-actions.

I find it hard to make it clear that certain actionbuttons can be considered as grouped. A horizontal menu separator could make this more clear.

like in:

Close Publish Withdraw | Set Fontstyle Attach File Append Link | Task\Create a Task

the first set of actions handle the document status, the second group have to do with the content on the document and the last group is related to relating other type of documents to the current document.

Connections / : tree view + dragNdrop in activities list

Author: Alberto Valverde
Tags: multiple activities connections drag & drop menu
Idea:

I really miss the ability to expand in tree mode the activities content (todos and entries) from the main activities list. This way the move option into every single entity could be replaced with a simple (smarter?) drag and drop feature. If not removing the move option from the entry menu, a recursive tick for moving/deleting also nested items could be usefull.

I mean between all activities not inside one. Now you can only open the activity from the main activities section. I miss expand/collapse like you can do into each activity. Usefull for moving a big number of todos/entries from one activity to another.

Thanks

LotusLive / : Fix context menu issue in iNotes

Author: Harald-René Flasch
Tags: firefox inotes context menu
Idea:

I am using Firefox and iNotes (e.g. for reading e-mails on the go).

When I'd like to use the iNotes context menu (e.g. in the mail list - right click on a e-mail) then the iNotes context menu appears but it is hidden by the Firefox context menu.

Workaround: Press the ESC button which "closes" the Ffirefox context menu and so the iNotes menu will be visable ....

Info: Under IE7 and Chrome the problem does not occur. Even Chrome is not officially supported ;-)
