Idea:

Creating a new -blank- template database adds a default ACL with LocalDomainServers as Manager, among other entries. My proposition is to have an ACL template which Domino will copy the ACL from into new databases. Useful entries I would add would be LocalDomainAdmins and Anonymous.

Comment: The solution is add to the ACL -blank- templates entries [LocalDomainAdmins] and [Anonymous], with permission to be transferred to the new database.

Comment: This only applies when you're creating FROM a template. Not creating a blank database.

Comment: A simple solution is to make your own "customized" -blank- template from the standard -blank- template. You can then define whatever ACL entries you need.

Also here would be an opportunity to include your own systematic design elements, that you feel should be included, e.g. agents, resources subforms etc.

Comment: I will support this idea, because it's great. It would be possible to transfer the templates of access control to customers. In principle, would have been satisfied with the decision to export / import ACL, but the templates better.

Comment: @1 and @3 are correct. You can also use Surely Template from OpenNTF to reset the replica IDs and adjust default ACL settings across all discovered templates. As this has been around for ages, Lotus won't spend any time fixing this capability.
