When setting alarms for calendar entries, there is a pulldown list for the units of time. But in the preferences, the units are predefined. (see screen shots). The defaults in the preferences should exactly match the setting options. They should allow selecting minutes/hours/days and before/after.
i've enabled for every calendar entry in my preferences the alarm options. every time i create a new calendar entry and will disable alarm option (only for this event), a pop-up will ask me "how & when to notify" - but why? i will disable!
Currently (8.5.3) if you receive a notification at one location (Office for example) and later start Lotus Notes using a different location (Remote for example), you are notified "you have missed alarms and would you like to see them".
