calDAV and cardDAV are open standards for access to calendar & contacts, and IBM is all about open standards!

We already have support for iCal, vCard, and webDAV in Domino... please stitch them together to provide calDAV & cardDAV support.

IBM Worklight shoud be integrated into Notes Designer also, and should have support to access Domino databases. So, it can be used to develop native mobile applications with Domino databases behind.

Robert van den Breemen146 - Jan 22, 2012 / Comments (0)
Add instant notifications to the Connections App (use native infrastructure, like the Sametime App does) to notify the user of statusupdates of people I follow, reply's on my board, posts in my community. And in the future of mentions I get or retweets of my statusupdate in my networks.

With IBM's release today of IBM Connections for Android (free on Android Market) we finally have a client app for Android. After a quick config to the Greenhouse environment (https://greenhouse.lotus.com/mobile) it appear to be a pretty full function client (if a bit slow).

I would like Android support in Lotus Mobile Connect.
The Nokia support is great, with Android support it would be just what my customers need.

Just like most organizations we started with Blackberry devices on BES servers.  These servers have tables for both user and device information.  When IBM came out with Traveler it was my understanding that it was supposed to be comprable to the BES servers with the exception of supporting Andoid devices.

Expland Sametime mobile client with A/V and meetings

Alexey Zimarev1187 - Feb 3, 2011 / Comments (0)
It is very pity that Sametime Mobile client is limited to chat. I would like to have there A/V as well especially when all smartphone platforms support VoIP from the box, including SIP and codecs.

Also it would be very helpful to have Sametime meeting client, as planned in LotusLive Meetings,

Make Blog Template Mobile (BlackBerry) friendly!!

Marvin K153 - Apr 4, 2009 / Comments (0)

RSS feeds work pretty well on the BlackBerry--but if you click read story on any blog that uses the 8.5 blog template, it goes to the website and it looks pretty lousy.  The tag and header sections hog up the top of the webpage, and then you have to zoom

Imagine going to buy your morning coffee and being told by the vendor "I only make expresso and tea".  But "I want a Latte" you say. She says "I could make a Latte but then I'd have to make a Latte for everyone".  She doesn't sound very flexible and neither

There are literally boatloads of PalmOS Treos that can run the IBM microJVM and would love to be able to run Sametime. PalmOS rivals Windows Mobile in terms of deployed and active smartphones.

At lotusphere a few years ago, I went to a session where they used a Treo 600 (eck,
