xPages Display Property

Dwain Wuerfel2725 - Jun 14, 2011 / Comments (0)
The xPages team was extremely thoughtful in designing of the developers capabilities, but one capability I just needed which wasn't available was having the 'Computed Property Menu Button' on the Display tab for a viewpanel column.  Specifically the checkbox to 'Show values in this column as links'.

This would be helpful because

Lotus Knows: Split Screens for Multiple Tabs = Increased Productivity!

Enzo Frati135 - Aug 18, 2009 / Comments (4)
Ability to view your tab'd aplications within your Notes client on separate screens.
This would be particularly useful for integrated apps like Symphony with its doc and spreadsheet tools.
Essentially allowing you to view both apps on a single (or dual) screen without having to flip back and forth between tabs.

Field property to display as text in read mode (or formula returns true)

Paul Davies12321 - Mar 24, 2009 / Comments (0)

Fields that involve a specific control for data entry, e.g. radio buttons, check boxes, combo boxes and dates also display the same way in read mode (although the control element may be greyed out). This is untidy and can be confusing to end users and so developers typically pair these

To ensure a workable client and proper font mapping, install the Luxi*.ttf font family by default on Ubuntu

Notes on Linux requires the Luxi ttf-xfree86-nonfree font family for mapping of the serif, sans serif, and monospace font mappings. RH and SuSE come with that font and work well. Ubuntu at this time does not. So, rather than rely on a third-party to install what Notes needs, Lotus should

Use large flat-panel monitors for Speedgeeking

Phil Randolph1715 - Feb 8, 2008 / Comments (1)
Since Speedgeeking usually happens on Wednesday night, and by then the number of rooms being used for sessions has dwindled greatly, my thought is that they could make use of 12 (or more) of the large flat-panel monitors that they display session information on during the rest of the conference,

Bring back the 2 week calendar display

Ove Størholt581 - Feb 4, 2008 / Comments (0)
In Notes 7 (and in Notes 8 basic) you have the possibility to show calendar entries in a 2 week display. This feature is for some reason taken out of the Notes 8 standard client.

I'd like to see it back!

Allow me to move the properties dialog to my other monitor

Joseph Hoetzl4678 - Oct 31, 2007 / Comments (2)
I don't know if it is just my video card, but I've tried it on nVidia and ATI ones with the same result.  I run dual 19" monitors and usually have notes client on left, and designer on the right.  For some reason, I cannot drag the properties box to

Shrink display of fullscreen sharing

Jimmy Eriksson - Oct 16, 2007 / Comments (1)
I think this would be great feature.

When sharing a program that is to big for the display frame in Web conference, think if you could shrink the displayed program to fit in the frame without scroll bars.

As it looks now, shared programs is
