Quickr 8.5.1 Domino does not support IE9 native. This is leading to a multitude of confusion for clients and support calls and the temporary solution is not easy:
- Implement a hack in haikucommonforms.ntf to simulate IE7 (which will be overwritten when installating a fix pack in the future)
- Tell the

In the Location document you can select if you want to use the build-in browser or the OS browser (e.g. IE). This selection is very static, but a more dynamic approach could be useful. The build-in browser is ok in most cases, but sometimes it doesn't work as well as

This would be simular to Ctrl-M which opens a new mail message when you're in the Notes client and simular to IE, FF and other browsers that allow for new tab creation.

Just a simple consistency check for Designer and Notes client...
From the Designer client there is no option available to do a preview of the 'using this database' and 'about this database' documents. From the Notes client there is.
For the developer it can be helpfull to have some consistency here since

Currently it seems that all linkJam entries open in same window taking user away from the linkJam site. My preference would be for link to open in a new window or tab.

Internet Explorer is the embedded browser for the Windows platform. Firefox is the embedded browser for Linux platform (don't known about MacOS).
Firefox should also be an (the ?) embedded browser for the Windows platform.

It's not possible to zoom text size in the internal browser (not the one used in the w32 client anyway) which for example makes Bob's (Balaban) blog entries impossible to read.
Opening the same blog entry in IE6 gives the same result (since it's the same browser) but at least you

I would really like to see the combobox and listbox (and a @%$#-ton of other objects behave the same (or at all) in a browser or the client. If the whole concept of developing for Notes and Domino is to speed developement time, then I shouldn't have to build form

The Location Configuration document in the Private NAB does not provide the Notes Inbuilt browser, to use the Automatic Configuration Script for Proxy Connection. This feature should be availble

The current system makes it impossible to use totals in views on a browser because the total will include documents that you cannot see because of Reader / Author restrictions
Would also be nice if we could categoris odeas under server and development as an example

@HostName(servername) would return the HTTP hostname for the given Domino servername e.g. @HostName("Server1/Mega") might return "megadom01.megacorp.com".
