Ok, I am only dangerous as a developer...but have to believe this is possible.  I, like many others, rely on both the Notes HELP applications PLUS Notes.net PLUS Sandbox PLUS OpentNTF PLUS Searchdomino and on and on.
The one thing that all of the users and developers of these resources have in common is that we are using the Notes client in some way and all of those clients have the HELP Applications.
Imagine something similar to the following scenerio:
  1. You are looking up something in the Admin or Dev HELP.
  2. The document which is opened is tagged with some type of meta data
  3. As you opened said document a smaller frame on the screen automatiically updates with results that relevant to HELP document you have opened
  4. This dynamic HELP frame can be turned OFF or preconfigured to point to some standard Lotus / IBM sites for content but can also be adjusted by the user / policy to point to other content providers / RSS feeds and the like.

Searchdomino? Bwah ha ha ha... ;) That's a good one.

The IBM Support toolbar for web browsers is nice for this. That's a work-around, in the short-run.

I'm a member of the Lotus technical information team (documentation) and we're currently piloting the inclusion of RSS pull feeds in an "Additional resource" page in an eclipse help plugin. In future we hope to do at the topic level too. I think your idea to make the aggregration customizable by user is interesting -- I'll send it along to the team doing this work.
