Alton Brown as our closing session speaker was pure brillance. It'll be hard to top for 2009, but I'd like to make the early pitch for Adam and Jamie from Mythbusters! I'm sure there are dozens of geek myths they could put to the test on stage (and even some that might not burn down the Dolphin!). I have no doubt that the attendees would love it.
Oh, and if we can get Kari Byron as part of the deal? Sweeeeet....

After Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson and Alton Brown...it is difficult to find a suitable third element in the set to complete the 'hat trick' of recent closing session entertainment, if you will. So, get to it. Could be a gem of a show! Great idea, Duffbert!

Do they even do speaking gigs? I knew Alton did, but I've hever heard of the Mythbusters doing anything like this. Does anyone else remember Grant from Battle Bots?

I've never been able to get my company to let me go. Is there video anywhere of Alton Brown's session? I saw him do a live Good Eats a few years ago in Florida, and would love to see what he did with Lotus...

They would be the perfect for the closing session - maybe you ought to even hint at it a bit more so more people stay - not sure how the attendance is at the closing event..but that would help...
