Currently Domino includes a copy of attachments on delivery failure reports. This should be a configuration option to keep from overwhelming the router or the sender when multiple recipients get failures.
Hmm. I'm not sure about this one. I frequently use the "resend" option on failures and then fix the incorrect email address. This is really useful, for example, when you send a broadcast email to 50 people and 7 bounce back. It lets you easily fix & resend just the ones that failed.
I kinda agree with Craig here, but on the other hand I generally have my servers not even accept mail for users that don't exist to avoid the messy DSN situation.
I would vote for this (a serverbase setting please which we can activate or not)... I have here many user who send 200 MB to there private mail address and it bounced back because of the size... the bounce/NDR will be send to there mailfile, but in this time they tried it again and WOPA... the mail size is more then 400 MB and the user is over quota.
This feature could help to fix this... the user will get a NDR without attachment and without enlarging the quota (I know teaching users will help to solve this also, but thats not always possible).
