I actually had a user ask about this just last week. However, in a business environment, you probably don't want this done automatically, or your PNAB would get pretty full quickly. But perhaps a function similar to Yahoo wher eyou after you send the mail get to choose if you want to add the addresses or not.
I really prefer the way Notes 8 handles this, with Recent Contacts. That way people you've recently received email from are automatically added, but if you don't interact with them for some time (I don't know what the purge time is) they are removed. In 8.0.1 you'll be able to remove a recent contact or promote it to a "full" contact.
Boy am I glad 8.0.1 will allow deletes. It's kind of silly to have spammers appear in my address dialog. It's even worse that I can't delete one once it's there. I was afraid I would have to roll out a modified personal NAB just to be able to undo this silly "feature".
I'd like to see the ability to add recipients to your personal address book from an email you receive that contains other recipients. Right now you can only add the sender.
