Lotus should allow people to find me easily. If I set the status to 'on vacation' using out of office agent or it's national holiday today - show the secondary contact methods or backup. Not just when receiving the generated out of office email.

Closer Affiliation between IBM and BP's

Local BP only events that are training or feedback events about IBM products. Current technical testing of Developers/Admin is not a true measure of skill. Follow up training, demonstrations are required on a regular basis to help keep BP's upto date.

Setting KPI's that reward IBM Reps for identifying and co-ordinate resolution client issues may improve the frequency, and quality of contact IBM has with it's customer base locally.

The IBM Rep may be a great source to connect the experts (deep within the bowels of big blue) with customers ...

Why not offer promotional certification offers for techies as well as college students? Give free certifications exams when developer Works live camps happen. I have seen many people attend dW events just to attempt certifications :)

I would like to see a better documentation of the internal architecture and dependencies of the XPD side of Lotus Notes.
The available documentation is focussed on Composite applications, but not on the Notes client itself.

IBM has no channel where technical expertise is being honored (publically). For business partners, there is Partnerworld, but the only things that matter on Partnerworld is the number of licences and/or HW your are selling. It is a sales channel.
