Idea:

I would like to have the ability to compact all local databases at once. It would be great if this could be a toolbar button or even a menu option. I've written Lotusscript code that does this, since Notes was built with the idea of local/disconnected use, this capability should be part of the client.

Comment: Since the idea is not different at all from the original, wouldn't it be more appropriate to withdraw it? Don't get me wrong, this is really a serious question about how to deal with cases like this. Having two ideas exactly the same will either draw votes from each other or have the same people voting in the same style, again. Doesn't sound very sensible to me either way, but maybe your opinions differ.

Comment: So, performing an "ncompact <options>" from a DOS prompt is not adequate? You can run program documents locally as well, just to make this interesting.
