Domino Server / Web application server: Support the XML files XPages components, and Java deployments to a server using .NSFs

Author: Mike Woolsey
Tags: xpages java Files
Idea:

Right now new XPages and the managed beans XML files need to be placed directly on-disk to the server. I'd like the ability to set up these files, and thus replicate them to other servers in the network, using NSFs.

Obviously the access controls here would be provided to administrators; but the ability to keep a server group in sync would be important to providing consistent service.

Author: Peter Presnell
Comment: Personally, I think this should be a big deal for IBM. One of the key differentiators for Notes/Domino development has been the ease of deployment offered by the NSF container. We should fight to keep that simplicity by ensuring all aspects of a Domino application can continue to be deployed via an NSF.
