Please align starttime and endtime of an all day event to start and end of work day configured in users preferences (28 Feb 2012)The workaround I use is to modify the mail template. I have to modify the template anyway as there are variables to translate and preferences that are peculiar to Icelandic that need to be implemented amongst other modifications. The modifications regarding All Day Events and Anniversary are these: AppendStartTime set 08:00 in stead of 04:00 (this is in the Input Validation formula in the field StartDate in the _Calendar Entry | Appointment form) This prevents a wakeup call at four-o-clock if Anniversary or All Day Event (i.e. AppointmentType = 1 or 2) have been set with alarm . (It is also necessary in our environment to change AppendEndTime to 21:00:00 in stead of 20:00:00 (Input Validation formula in the field EndDate) to maintain a 12 hour difference between AppendStartTime og AppendEndTime as those are used in another application.) |
Right-Click / Paste documents into bookmark (19 Feb 2012)Such a function would be useless for all databases that have multiple different forms with associated response documents. How would the "paste" function resolve whether the pasted document should transform into a main document or a response document to which parent? |
ACL template for new Databases (19 Feb 2012)A simple solution is to make your own "customized" -blank- template from the standard -blank- template. You can then define whatever ACL entries you need. Also here would be an opportunity to include your own systematic design elements, that you feel should be included, e.g. agents, resources subforms etc. |
