Current user expectations are that deleted files can be easily recovered. From a security or Admin view, you may not want this. Way back in my Novell days... there was a hidden directory named deleted.sav that could only be accessed by someone with Admin rights. If you don't want to use the Windows recycle bin then create a hidden folder in the Notes\Data directory and store deleted files there.

The subform would be a time saver, but I agree that being able to position the action bar anywhere would be better. The floating toolbar that is common in other applications would be a welcome addition in the Notes world.

I've suggested a few times that IBM provide resources such as paid internships to work with OpenNTF on things like common CSS, graphics, error handlers and shared actions. The intent is to provide a toolkit to allow authors to optionally add a consistent UI and feature set to OpenNTF projects. I don't see any conflict if these same resources were applied to the OpenNTF web site.

Virtually every other IDE has this feature and it is sorely missed in Designer.

How about some neon shirts and little flashing lapel pins? Oh wait...
