In Microsoft Outlook/Exchange you have the option of saving messages outside of Outlook into your files system with your other documents (Word Documents, Spreadsheets, etc). You can then open up the documents and they open in Outlook/Exchange.
I would like Lotus Notes to be able to do the same ...
Because Lotusscript is a great language to develop applications with.
My idea is that why can't it evolve into a language that can be used to develop application using the eclipe framework.
Imagine a windows or perhaps Linux or even a Mac OS X application created using lotusscript.

could we have Swiftfile for all Notes-Clients ?
This is not fully my idea, but some of our customers rwere equested these.
IBM developed clients (like android) for all platforms. They would like to have some more control and security over the built-in clients, eg:
- client certificate based authentication
- container like worikg:
When you install Domino on a Windows platform machine, the Domino program directory is not added to the server's path statement.
It would make it alot easier to run nsd.exe, and nserver -c commands (for batch files) if the program directory was already in the path already.
