Propose Firefox as an alternative embedded browser on Windows

: Notes Client / Core/Frameworks (Incl. sidebar, rich text editor)
: internet, browser, embedded
Michel Poleur3877 - 14 2008 / (8)
Internet Explorer is the embedded browser for the Windows platform. Firefox is the embedded browser for Linux platform (don't known about MacOS).
Firefox should also be an (the ?) embedded browser for the Windows platform.

Make it possible to select internet sender address when sending mail

: Notes Client / Other
: email, internet, sender
Jens-B. Augustiny636 - 15 2008 / (4)
Especially in the SMB market, where people are working for/under different organisations, but using only one mailfile/Notes-Identity it would be nice to have a way to select from different sending addresses, when sending to the internet, like some other mail clients do (drop down list or so).

Check my internet address to avoid replying myself

: Notes Client / Mail
: internet, address, reply to all
Starrow Pan4715 - 18 2009 / (4)
In the mail conversation with internet users, when I select 'Reply to all', Notes will not check if the receiver list contains my internet address, say goodguy@mail.com, so I will receive my reply.
Notes should check the sender's internet address just as it checks the Notes mail address.

Notes Web Browser Configuration - Use Automatic Configuration Script

: Notes Client / Core/Frameworks (Incl. sidebar, rich text editor)
: notes, internet, browser
Sudhish Jayaswal956 - 27 2007 / (1)
The Location Configuration document in the Private NAB does not provide the Notes Inbuilt browser, to use the Automatic Configuration Script for Proxy Connection. This feature should be availble
