NotesDatabase class should have property/method  to change this , along with that specify master template and read the "User Activity" log on specific database programatically.

Open in client - extend with Web browser

OKej, so (in 8.5) you have from Designer the option to open the application in the client directly from the right mouse menu. Why not the same option but then for the web browser and open the application with the default launch option for the web?
