Just as I can with Actions, I would like to suggest adding the ability to define a separator entry in an outline.  This would display a standard horizontal line (similar to a HTML horizontal rule) as a way of separating/grouping outline entries at the same level.

Need to be able to collapse all other entries when a new top-level entry is expanded.

Implement code folding in script libraries

When coding in “vanilla” Eclipse you get code folding for methods, constructors, etc. It would be really useful to have such a thing in server-side Javascript script libraries—in fact, across the board for all script libs and agents.

Better control over horizontal outlines

We are able to create a page to display an outline horizontally.  However, if you have long entries, the only options are to use a small or narrow font or to make each entry wide.  It would be nice for the entries to wrap to multiple lines (even if it ...

Xpages outline view - Expand/Collapse all

The outline pane in DDE is a great tool. However, it could benefit from a expand all/collapse all button.

Outline Refresh Method

Michael Amberg822 - 31 2007 / (0)
It would be nice to have an Outline Refresh method similar to that for a UI view. The idea is that when a bookmark is added to the bookmark bar, the Outline Refresh could be called to have it display immeadiately instead of the user having to close and re-open ...

A more delicatied outline for lotusscript class in the eclipse-based editor

: Domino Designer

Starrow Pan5103 - 04 2011 / (0)
The current outline in the eclipse lotusscript editor lists all the variables and methods alphabetically. It would be better to separate them or have an option to hide fields.

New Outline Entry Named Element

In applications that use outlines and have a configuration document, you most likely have a view for the configuration doc so you can quickly access it via @DbLookup or through LotusScript.  You can set an outline entry to open a view or a form but it would be nice to have an additional ...

I would like to have a design element that is marked as Default database outline, so that when you create a new Outline you do not configure all the properties again, and to inherit them.
Much better if it was related to CSS as suggested here.

the options for the outline are a bit restricted.
for example: you can not set the text to bold for selected levels without changing it also for normal entries

Default outline entry in a form

Dan King2709 - 16 2008 / (0)
I'm adding an embedded outline to a form to allow navigation between tabs of a programmed table in the same form. No frames or views involved. It gives me a nice ui I reckon (better than some anyway).
When the form opens, none of the outline entries are highlighted ...

IBM has recently published a set of guidelines/best practices for "making delightful products and enlightening experiences"
