Idea:

Now we can see unread counts for all the databases on the workspace page. But it will be more comfortable to have an option for a single database - show unread.

Idea:

Most of web applications have the same structure: banner, navigator, header, footer, main area, etc.
For almost all traditional notes developers it will be more easier to begin development with xPages with such wizard. With wizards MS received users’ harts:)

Idea:

Creating navigator using links or javascript libraries is a boring task. It will be more usable and supportable if developer could create navigator using visual tools such as outline for Notes clients.

I wonder how bad the xPages technology solved questions of backward compatibility with legacy Lotus applications.
One example - the nested categorization. In the Lotus Notes client using nested categorization of each subcategory is displayed with an indent to the right. In xPages - without indentation (usually left alignment). This is not acceptable. And consequently delayed the implementation of xPages-application for an indefinite time.

I want that xPages displayed categoryized column in the same way as does the client Lotus Notes.

Comment: I have submitted a ticket to IBM support to solve this. I have a workaround from IBM for this exact problem. The problem is going to be solved in 8.5.2.

Mail tips may be helpful to inform the possible exceptions before they happen. Example:
- The excess of the quota on message size
- The use of encryption for mailing outside notes domain
- Select the group with a lot of addressee
- Not specified recipient or subject
- Etc.

Configure Mail tips should be an administrator.

Domino Public Key Infrastructure for xPages applications

In order to develop secured xPages applications I need the following:
- Analogue of NotesDocument.Sign
- Analogue of NotesDocument.Encrypt
- Analogue of signed section
- Ability to extract name of signer, signature date-time, etc.

- Analogues of other features of Lotus Notes client to work with a digital signature and encryption.

Comment: IBM made a big step in launching XPages. However they forgot to remain compatible with the past. There are many other nice things we had in Lotus Notes version 3, 4, 5 , 6 , 7 that suddenly are no longer available in XPages.
