Idea:

The new multi-locale site management framework provided by IBM recently is a great evolution.

However, this add-on framework should be included out-of-the-box in the product, as soon as possible.

This will allow customers to build a reliable multi-language approach, based on a standard feature of the product.

Comment: I'd very much like to see stuff around this topic in the future. However, over the years, we've seen more or less successfull attempts. Why? Because Notes design has soo many possibilities and are inherently quite complex in it's structure. But, that doesn't mean that we lay down the challenge!!

Idea:

Using tools like xml access and release builder to export pages from one WPS server to another is really painful. On each project, customers needs to develop custom web interfaces to hidde the complexity to end-users and to give them a more user-friendly way to move their site (pages and portlet instances) to the live production server....

I know that in V6.1 a new tool (Site Management) will be provided, so that's a very good improvement......BUT as far as I know the first release will be a little bit limited, and not completely user-friendly.

So a good idea would be to focus effort to improve this kind of tool as much as possible, and to provide a way as simple as WCM syndication for people to publish their web site.
