<div>Allow Sametime users to see if someone is Out of Office (instead of just unavailable). This would save a lot of time and effort for users who currently try to get hold of somoene but only find out they are OOF by sending and email. As part of the CIO Innovation Fund, we provided some development funding for a Proof of Concept to do this using Notes Client. The team who worked on this were Sowmya Lakkappa, Mamatha J Venkatravanappa and Preeti Mudaliar.</div>

<div>However, the team were not able to overcome the difficulty of having notes reside on more than one server. As a result, the tool worked but could not be deployed for general use as a plug-in through TAP.</div>
