In the design client, with a list of all views, select all or some of them, and be able to change all the view properties (specifically alternate row colours, grid, exten last column to view width, unread colours etc.)

I sometimes want to view/compare several view selection formulas but I end up having to open each one. It would be nice if maybe in the properties tab you could see the selection formula. It would also be nice to see it when you right-click the view.

Yes, I know we can 'force' a window title by naming the view anythng we want, but sometimes there are good reasons to want a different text string to appear (e.g. include the server)

Just about everywhere I go these is some variation on a view of groups categorised by members
Having one by default would at least mean that code we use to address this view (e.g.. a lookup to find all groups a person is in) would be consistent

One function I would really like to emphasize in an Action button is "Customize This View". It'd be really useful to make this view entry visible on the view.
Longer-range it'd also be useful to reorganize the view programmatically, so we could provide specific customizations for users to select. There are

I would like to have an interface that would allow archived ideas & comments to be viewed. No voting or additional commenting would be allowed. Admins should be able to enable/disable the interface in the configuration.

Reformatting view data to shoehorn it into a dojo grid, that's a bear of work.
I would think it would be tremendously useful to just hand dojo grid a URL to a view and let it "go to town" on the data there.
BTW, this would also be useful for graphics content.

A number of limitations have limited my use of views again & again.
1. @Return(value) in a view column. Does that work even now?
2. Pivot / minor column-column connections between two views. It hasn't made a lot of sense to me why a Domino server would find it "tough" to connect

When a view gets dirtied during a scroll-up, the navigation sequence (pgUp, pgDn) flies to the top or bottom of the view collection. I'd like it if something could be done to address that issue.

Xpages extension library has a nice object xe:dominoViewListTreeNode allowing the display & selection of view names. Very cool.
I've been using this a lot, but I'm noticing the need for anothe tree node object.

It would be really cool if a button could be added under the message shown in a view, see attachment, when it is going to take some time to refresh/rebuild and allow you to see the documents that would send you a simple message like below.

It would be useful to have the list of views in the Designer client either display the "Last Indexed" date or the "Last Accessed" date, which are already stored and accessible in the properties, in a column, so that it is easier to determine which views are no longer used and

When a Notes view is opened in DDE any change made requires a view refresh to complete before DDE continues doing anything else. With large views this can consume valuable time, especially when the change made is to the font of a column header which should not require a view

It would be great to have ability to use values of document fields in twistie image formula of ViewColumn. It is possible for column values, why not for twistie image formula?

I find it very frustrating that I cannot have a list of forms open in the center pane and a list of e.g. views from the same app. Just add an extra tab for the views when the forms is already open.

To view the code of Shared Columns have to open them, that creepy uncomfortable.
I propose to leave the background color of the system, but instead a common text (see screenshot) to display a formula of selected Shared Column.

In views, that have sort on demand columns, it is often annoying to users, that the view might open sorted on a column other than the categorized one.
Could we get an additional on-open option to "Restore as designed", thereby reverting to categorization and sorting as designed originally.
