When configuring a new server, it prompts to add LocalDomainAdmins to the ACL of all templates. Instead, this should prompt to enter the admin group name to be used.
I have yet to find an environment that actually uses the LocalDomainAdmins group.

When configuring an additional server in a domain, it provides a chance to pull databases like the directory and directory assistance from another server. It also provides for modifying the ACLs of the templates. It would be helpful to provide the option to pull templates from another server instead of

Now we are getting more and more applications on XPages using the same theme, we can somehow group these applications together into an 'application suite'.
However the domino blog template is still based on traditional Domino design principles, so this will make it time consuming for customers to modify this DB so

The templates distributed via IBM on OpenNTF do not seem to have an public product plan.
If there would be a release plan, it would be nice to know what will be in the upcoming release.
For the requests it would be nice to know which one will be integrated in

The Notebook template works nice as a scrapbook to copy and paste collected information in.
at this moment you can only index documents by category. Indexing docs also via tags feels a bit more modern to me.

Would be nice to create Room Templates so users have an automated way to setup rooms. This way, users in a Place can create new Rooms that come pre-setup with folders, documents, forms, workflow, etc. Right now users are very confused when they create a new, empty room.
Room Templates should also have

The offering of templates shipped with IBM Lotus has not been expanded so much the last decade.
Other collaboration offerings like Sharepoint seem to understand that here mind and hearts at end-users can be won:

I already see the demotions coming. But keep in mind that games are known to be an excellent way to learn new software and it's features. It also helps in brand recognition. (c.f. BrickBreaker) Let go of reality for a moment and envision this:

When running the Designer task manually, we should be able to limit design to refresh from selected template only. Currently you can limit by filename, directory, or by separate list file. Command could be something like this:

This is an update to the session that Bruce and I delivered at LS08, and it will include a bunch of updated content. We would be interested in any thoughts about what you might expect or like to see in this presentation, especially if you've seen earlier versions from Lotusphere,

Since master template name is not the same as database name, which is shown in the "open application" dialog, there is no easy way to find and open in desinger the template wich is responsible for application's design. The technology for searching is already in place - it is been

Every version of Quickr should be able to run templates written in previous versions the way nsf and ntf files are "backward compatible." So far, each incremental version has caused problems with templates, preventing upgrades.
As an example, the current SNAPPS templates are not able to be run on Quickr 8.1.
