There is no way to restrict access on selected documents at once.
You have to go to Edit Properties and change "Who Can Access This" document per document.
This procedure is time consuming!
Why can't I selected multiple documents and change the access rights?

Users are requesting to access their Quickr Places via the connector in the Notes Client first.
It should be exactly the same functionality as on Windows!! They need to open/send/save files from/to Quickr Places.
"Finder" is second!

Quickr 8.5.1 Domino does not support IE9 native. This is leading to a multitude of confusion for clients and support calls and the temporary solution is not easy:
- Implement a hack in haikucommonforms.ntf to simulate IE7 (which will be overwritten when installating a fix pack in the future)
- Tell the

We are really missing the ability to use links between documents e.g. Spreadsheets which often link to each other. We need to be able to upload a spreadsheet that was linked to another spreadsheet and this gets updated. it could be something like this:
\\servername\\placename\\database\\docID
FlairPoint has this and Quickr is loosing

I hope to see a full implementation of CMIS into Quickr next.
By supporting CMIS, Quickr can be more easily being integrated into other applications or CMIS client software of other vendors can be used to access data stored in Quickr.

When I copy & paste a document from an Explorer Window into a target within the Quickr Connector Window, and the same document already exists, it just overwrites the file (w/ a 'are you sure?' dialog, AFAIR).
According to the versioning principle, simply checking the new document in as the actual

The new Forum in Quickr 8.5 is great :-) But if you want another Forum then you need to create a new Room.
I think that Forum should be like a "Folder Type" so we can have > 1 forum in main.nsf or in a room

I think it would make much more sense if the tray icon for the Quickr Connectors opened an Explorer window, showing the Team Places overview. Now, it opens the "Monitor", which I think isn't something you use everyday. A behaviour like the Dropbox tray icon would be something that

Prior to 8.5 Quickr admins could find the version installed either by watching the console on startup or opening a browser and looking at the page source of the Quickr pages and would see a simple verison reference.
In 8.5 one must now open the page source and search for QPVersion

I would rather prefer Quickr save to/open from place support in the standard Windows Open and Save dialog boxes ad Microsoft did for SharePoint. It will automatically solve "Save to Quickr as PDF" issue and eliminate the need to support Office intergation for individual versions of the product.

lot of customers are requesting a Home page for QuickR, like we have in Connections. It should display summary of the place, like:
- last X blog entries
- new wiki pages
- new documents
- last announcement
- actual tasks
- today's calendar
- warnings
- etc...
With these new views (portlets) users can build their own homepage

Teams should be able to book rooms in Domino through QuickR

Whenever you build a form in a place with rooms you have to rebuild that form in each and every room. Why can't there be an option to "inherrit forms into all rooms" option that will automatically inherrit the form into each room? This makes it easier to maintain as you

When you build forms into quickr you have to build/add them to each and every place and room you want to use them. This makes it very hard to maintain as any change requires updates to multiple places/rooms.
It would be better if you could for instance have a central

Currently the list of places is displayed in My Places as one long list sorted alphabetically. The list can be very long, especially for administrators. It should be possible to organize places into folders. This would be similar to organizing Notes databases on a server. For example, all places used

Several users have asked me to add an "expiration date" to their documents.
The rationale is that some documents have information that may not be good 6 months from now or 2 years from now, and users don't want to have to remember to go look at these things. There being

Would be nice to create Room Templates so users have an automated way to setup rooms. This way, users in a Place can create new Rooms that come pre-setup with folders, documents, forms, workflow, etc. Right now users are very confused when they create a new, empty room.
Room Templates should also have

Make it easy to group postings based on forms in folders via custom columns. In 8.2, I can create a "Contract" form, have a folder with columns based on that form. If I have 1000s of contracts, there is no simple way to group by "Company"

Search a folder with custom columns using metadata search, not just full text search.
Return results in the same columnar format.

With RAM being limited to 4GB on 32 bit OSes it is only a matter of time before:
- Companies start to move to 64 bit desktop OSes
- Windows 7 is mainstream
For these very reasons we need Win7 and 64 bit support in the connectors.
