When an outline is embedded on a page, it would be great if I have the page open in designer and I double click on the embedded outline, the outline would be opened in designer.
Would be even better if the changes would be visible in the page directly after editing

I think it would be nice if the screen capture tool in the embeeded sametime client and the stand alone client could be accessed via shortcut key. Many companies bought 3rd party software to do that. We could save some money with that and it would eliminate the need to install

Has any thought been given to doing a similar construct in IQJam as there is in IdeaJam to allow easy embedding of a question on an blog or other web site? This seems to have been a great boon for IdeaJam and wondered if it had been considered for IQJam.

my 'rich client' does not seem to be so rich. i guess (adobe) flash has become quiet a standard for the web. why not make it a standard object that can be embedded for the Notes client?

A possible solution to overcoming the problems associated with embedded views and not being able to sort the columns etc could be to set the selection criteria for the view at runtime - e.g. as a property of the embedded View object and not at the View level itself. This would take precedence

Call uidoc.refresh form an action button in embedded view reliably crash the Lotus client - in every version I have tried. There is much usage for this.

I would like to have the option to turn of the 'no documents found' H2 tag for embedded views, this is extremely annoying if you use a page in combination with an embedded view to create an JS array.

Internet Explorer is the embedded browser for the Windows platform. Firefox is the embedded browser for Linux platform (don't known about MacOS).

Now there is no way to identify in the formula pane of an embedded view to identify it through an expression like the ones you can use with @dblookup or @dbcolumn: "server" : "database"; "view name".

I wish I could set the height of an embedded view based on a formula. This would allow me to better utilize screen real estate by calculating the height based on the number of entries that exist and could be used to set a max and a min height. This

Can't believe this hasn't been proposed yet as it's an old idea.
Just want to be able to specify server (as in current server), database and view, rather than replica id. Replicas don't work for development.
This only applies, since Nathan Freeman's sesame street example, to single category embedded views, but I'm

It would be nice to be able to embed a frameset inside a form ... better yet inside a tabbed table. The idea is to be able to scroll the items within the frame , add a locking header, etc.
The functionality I am trying to achieve is similar to that

Right now we have "Embedded views with show single category","Private views", "@ViewSetInfo", "DB2 Query view". All of these solutions do nearly the same thing: Presenting the user only a dynamically filtered part of a view. None of these solutions works perfect.

Add a default focus property to an embedded view when used in a form or a dialog box.
