Today the only notification is via Feed. Either you you use Notes 8.x sidebar rss feedreader, or you use a third party feed reader e.g. Internet Explorer.

New Mail Notifications with local replicas

Would like to have the option for a new mail notification occur upon new mail once it gets delivered to the local replica vs the server replicas.  I have had several people comment on how they receive new mail notifications but "nothing appears" in the inbox.  This gives the users

In Microsoft Outlook/Exchange you have the option of saving messages outside of Outlook into your files system with your other documents (Word Documents, Spreadsheets, etc).  You can then open up the documents and they open in Outlook/Exchange.
 
I would like Lotus Notes to be able to do the same thing.  Export

The Lotus Notes Traveler client does not support e-mail encryption.
 
I think this product isn´t usefull for some companys which I work for (they use the Lotus Notes own eMail encryption)... So I would vote for encryption support in
