If you receive an email or go into your sent, there's no way (that I can discern) to copy text from the email for use in pasting into a new email.
Please address this!

Sometimes you want to copy the content of a table without the table formatting (rows, columns).
It would be a timesaver to have for each row instead a newline.

hej ready for another time-saver?
what if it would be possible to select 'copy style from view' AFTER a view has been created?
Ofcourse the only style that should be copied then would be display properties (colors, images, margins etcetera) NOT columns, view selection formula etcetera.

There might be a technical reason for this, but it would be nice if I could copy text that is in a view or in a computed field. The copy to table feature is one of the best features added in recent years, but it would be an added feature to be

It would be great if you could copy and paste a folder from one mailfile and paste into another. Currently, when rebuilding a mailfile for example, you have to first create the folder structure manually and then copy and paste all documents into the corresponding folders. It would be great

If I have HTML email and wish to copy some of the text into a another Notes document that contains a text field (not a RT field), then the text should copy over.
Instead, I get an error "Only text can be pasted into this type of field". I have to paste the clipboard into

please add an option/dialog to include or exclude the names in a mail document when you create a new calendar entry from it via the 'copy into new' function.
this has been embarrassing for multiple times for users.
the current option is good and and a time saver but users are unaware

I'm sure most of you are familar with the simple @Command([MailForward]) function. @Command([MailForward]) forwards the current document by placing its entire contents into a mail memo which the user then addresses and sends. I was tasked with duplicating this functionality, but for a subform on the current document. Futhermore, the

Please Please allow to select /copy a computed field text on Form. Currently we don't have any option to copy from the front end until if we go to the document properties and copy. However if field is of type computedForDisplay, we don't have even this option.

It would be great if it was possible to copy attributes of a selected element in Designer and "paint" it onto other elements, much the way Format Painter does in Office products.
I'm thinking selecting a field and grabbing the "Computed for Display" property and being able to "paint" that property

For very large dbs, or slow connections it can take some time before the copy completes, if you get distracted before completion, you

I want to be able to select some or all of the text in a view row and copy it to the clipboard, then paste it somewhere as text.
Right now, click-and-drag grabs the entire view entry for dragging to a folder. Obviously, I don't want to lose that feature. But

VB Classic (before MS ruined it) had some great functions....
clipboard.settext
clipboard.gettext
I'd like to see LotusScript have these functions built-in (not just text though - how about clipboard.getRTF, clipboard.getDocLink
At the moment, some of these can be done using API calls but I'd like to see them built into Notes. Not sure how

It would be a nice security feature to have three access control checkboxes instead of one: Replicate or Copy Documents.
1. Allow Replication (If unchecked, cannot create local replica, cannot replicate, cannot create new database copy)
2. Copy Documents (If unchecked cannot copy or forward documents)
3. Print Documents/views (if unchecked cannot print documents and

Even since R3, I have thought that the view link would be more useful if it would open a view and move the selection point to the document in the view that was selected when the view was copied as a link.
That way you can link to an entire thread
