Allow Administrator the termination of running Java Agents

Michael Gollmick401 - Jul 26, 2010 / Comments (1)
There is no way to terminate a Java agent that is running (and probably hung). As this (probably hung) agent is blocking agent manager from executing any other agent in the same database in some cases only a server restart will help. Weighting the impact of a server restart against

Set Archiving settings on multiple databases at once

Tim Paque2742 - Mar 16, 2010 / Comments (0)
Allow setting of archive settings on multiple databases at once.    Its easy enough to do through policies with mail files,  but not so easy for non-mail applications.

Put the Space Used column back in the Files view of the 8.5.1 Admin client!

Chris Farrell642 - Oct 14, 2009 / Comments (9)
If you have installed the 8.5.1 administrator client, you may have noticed that the Space Used column is missing from the Files view.  I, for one, find this information very useful.  I opened a PMR with Lotus support concerning this and was told "it was decided that "Space Used"

Allow Replica ID to be added as a column in the Files list in the Admin client

David Hablewitz13448 - Feb 25, 2009 / Comments (1)
Make the replica ID available as a column in the administrator client on the files tab.
If you are not familiar with how to select the columns, pull down File - Preferences - Administration Preferences, then click on the Files tab.

For that matter, the way the columns are managed is not

Allow design refresh or replace in the admin client.  Either by allowing us to add to the administrator smart icons so that we can add the @Command([DesignRefresh]) or @Command([DesignReplace])

or allow us to right click and choose Design\Replace and Refresh.

We can see which templates several databases at once

Configure startup server connection

Edward Scott692 - Jun 4, 2008 / Comments (2)
Each time I open Domino Administrator it tries to connect to whatever server I was connected to when I last quit Administrator. This is almost always not the server I want to connect to, and in the case that I have since switched IDs or the server is not accessible/slow

Manual replication to all servers in the domain

David Killingsworth3970 - May 30, 2008 / Comments (6)
Create a button in the admin client that will initiate a replication of names.nsf with all the servers in a domain that a server has connection documents to, when you have a specific server selected.

Many times, I make a change in the NAB that needs to be replicated to several

Admin client tabs/navigators need rationalisation

Michelle O'Rorke879 - May 30, 2008 / Comments (0)
Re-organise the admin tabs and navigators to make more sense.  In particular move the Certificate Expiry view to People and Groups so that I get access to the 'Recertify' option on the tools menu and right-click menu

When you prompt me with "The server is not responding" add another button besides OK to stop trying!

Joseph Hoetzl4678 - Mar 13, 2008 / Comments (1)
OK, this is silly - can get a ctrl-break in edgewise.  I was checking a remote server and one of the network links dropped and while in the Files view of the admin client, I got a popup that just won't die saying "The server is not responding.  The server

Starting Design refresh on multiple Databases from files Tab

Henning Kunz260 - Mar 13, 2008 / Comments (0)
Dealing with Designtemplates I would like to be able to sort the databases in the Filetab of the Administrator in column Template, mark all Databases which are based on a specific template (this already works) and then do a right click to refresh the design of these databases with the

Make the Files view exportable to .csv from the administrator client

David Killingsworth3970 - Jan 30, 2008 / Comments (6)
I often times visit the files view in the administrator to look at which mail files on a server are using which template (we have several different templates in operation), which database have quotas and which don't, which databases are over quota, which are the largest databases, etc. etc.

It would

'server access' tool

Jamie Hecker126 - Jan 30, 2008 / Comments (1)
I use the 'effective access' tool in the ACL a lot a work.  Absolutely great way to determine a person/groups access, including roles (I support a multi-db application that heavily utilizes roles).

I'd love to see something similar to determine a users server access.  We use group names in the server
