Extend the 'User detail' info of a database

Mathieu Pape6587 - Aug 28, 2012 / Comments (4)
Currently it only shows who has read, written or deleted documents but you cannot make out which documents were involved. We have many cases where documents "magically" disappear and where it would be nice (or even sometimes we are being asked) to be able to show who did actually delete it.

Create API for Calendar Access

Jens Schwendemann818 - Apr 13, 2012 / Comments (0)
Please provide (create) an interface to access (create, modify delete) calendar entries within a users mail database. How often did you catch yourself writing some routines for creating a calendar entry from within an self developed app. And how often did this code stopp working after domino server or mailfile

Have an option to define who may use an Action Menu agent.
Similar to the way you can set a view to be only visible to users with e.g. the [admin] role.

Currently when you do not want normal users to have access to an agent you have two options:
1) Make a

Add "Create Public Document" option to ACL

John Dillon376 - Jan 27, 2009 / Comments (6)
The ACL has a couple of valuable check boxes available for Reader and below:  "Read public documents" and "Write public documents"

However, we just discovered that there's no option for "Create public documents"

Here's where we would use it.

We define a group of people that have Reader access.

Automatically open calendar if user only has access to public documents

I think it would be great if Notes directed a user to the calendar view of a mailbox if they only have access to the public documents.

In Notes 7, you can go to  "Open Mail For", select a user, and the inbox is shown - only displaying meeting notices -

Archive Settings Synching between Domino Web Access and Notes client

Marie Scott3765 - Apr 30, 2008 / Comments (0)

Currently archive settings for the Notes client are not synched with Domino Web Access.  Users (or administrators) must manually add the archive database to Domino Web Access preferences.  Since DWA users are able to access their archives from the web, it only makes sense that the settings should be synched

'server access' tool

Jamie Hecker126 - Jan 30, 2008 / Comments (1)
I use the 'effective access' tool in the ACL a lot a work.  Absolutely great way to determine a person/groups access, including roles (I support a multi-db application that heavily utilizes roles).

I'd love to see something similar to determine a users server access.  We use group names in the server

Integrated XSL support in domino web engine

Alois Gruber1686 - Jan 16, 2008 / Comments (1)
I am not sure that I can explain it correctly, but the idea consists of several elements that work together

1. add XSL as resource type to the database
2. add an event "Use XSL" similar to "HTML Body attributes" to the form that can contain a formula that results to a

Allow only a few external programs access to Notes client

Martin Vogel2482 - Dec 5, 2007 / Comments (4)
Generally you can enable or disable the access for all external programs by the option "Don´t prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs (reduces security)", but i would like to have the ability to allow only a few programs the access.

That would increase the security.
