LotusLive Notes - Add support for POP3/IMAP

Eric Larson2223 - Aug 19, 2011 / Comments (3)
New subscribers to LotusLive Notes/Traveler often want access to the same mailfile from Outlook (transition period, Outlook features, etc...). LotusLive Notes does not support this.

Both on premises Domino and LotusLive iNotes supports this. I think LotusLive Notes should as well.

There is no way to file messages as they are sent.  A Send and File option is needed.  Discussion forums suggest creating mail rules which is rediculous.  oh, wait.  Is it OK if I post suggestions for Outlook here?  Sorry, old habits die hard.  I'm just used to posting ideas

At download sites of MS, there is a serverside tool for migration from Lotus Domino to Exchang...This tool is free.

In order to make it easier to exchange message and to smooth migration, Notes should support outlook messages and the same on the reverse.

Ability to Select an Address by First Name

Thomas Leriche1856 - Mar 4, 2009 / Comments (3)
When creating a new email and you click on TO: field to address the message this dialogue box only allows searches by last name.  It would be nice to have a toggle to switch between last name and first name searches.
So if you don't recall the last name of person

Wrap mail as attachment

John de Giorgio749 - Jan 15, 2009 / Comments (9)
When converting Outlook users to Notes one feature asked for consistently in my experience is the ability to wrap an e-mail thread into an attachment and send it to someone. I am not talking about the mail history but something more.

I am not sure how it works

It would be great if in order to move from M$ Outlook to Notes all you needed to do was directly import the outlook mail files and they are all converted to documents. I know there are commercial 3rd party tools for this but Notes should be doing it natively.

For some companies I work I would like to have the passthru feature for the DAMO (Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook) client. It isn´t always possible to have a external powerfull server in the DMZ. So a passthru feature would be very great.

Connections integration from Outlook

Neil Burston162 - Dec 20, 2007 / Comments (8)
It would be great to be able to offer Outlook users the possibility to configure a Connector to link with Activities in particular, but also other parts of Connections - I know of quite a few people who would like to do this and it would really open things up
