Clipboard access in LotusScript without API's

VB Classic (before MS ruined it) had some great functions....

I'd like to see LotusScript have these functions built-in (not just text though - how about clipboard.getRTF,  clipboard.getDocLink
 
At the moment, some of these can be done using API calls but I'd like to see ...

Let users copy text from views to the clipboard

I want to be able to select some or all of the text in a view row and copy it to the clipboard, then paste it somewhere as text.
 
Right now, click-and-drag grabs the entire view entry for dragging to a folder.  Obviously, I don't want to lose that ...

Files tab should have a "copy database location to clipboard" to paste it into a console command.

When working in the "Files" tab of the Domino Administrator client, there should be an option to right-click on a database and "Copy database location to clipboard" to be able to paste it in a console command if necessary.

with a simple copy and paste (in a rich text field) you can easily see all the properties, instead of having to go through the 7 individual tabs.

 Just very hard to read all the properties without scrolling. copying them to compare them is even more difficult. A simple 'copy properties to clipboard' would be an improvement.
