Better Date/Time Control Display in Read Mode

Currently if you use a Notes date/time control on a form in the client, the control field still has the small calendar button on the right when it's in Read mode (see attached screenshot).
 
This has never made sense to me, because you can't change the date in Read ...

Meetings of more than 24hours

I want to be able to schedule a meeting lasting more than 24 hours, i.e. an over-nighter.
I dont want to have to make 2 separate entries, one from 13:30-midnight today, and then another 00:01 to 17:30 tomorrow.
