Designer Help - distinguish between LotusScript AND Java help documents

As a developer with NO Java experience, I am really NOT interested in all those Help documents that are related to Java.

A simple search on 'documentcollection' returns the first 10 document related to Java. Maybe I am looking for just LotusScript related documents?

Please make my work more effective ...

RunWithDocumentContext not work when run from LotusScript

:Domino Designer
: runwithdocumentcontext, agents, run, lotusscript, notes client, domino server
Vlad Sh10448 - 02 2010 / (5)
It only works in conjunction SSJS->LS-agent, and in the security tab is the option "Run as Web user".
1. On Notes Client:
Button code:
Dim ns As New NotesSession
Dim ndb As NotesDatabase
Dim na As NotesAgent
Dim nd As NotesDocument

Set ndb = ns.CurrentDatabase
Set na = ndb.GetAgent("(test)")

Strange messages when using the Designer in the project, containing only the code LotusScript

:Domino Designer
: domino designer, lotusscript, errors, interface
Vlad Sh10448 - 02 2010 / (4)
The appearance of these messages inexplicably.
Please correct this behavior, or simply remove the messages, because for LotusScript projects they lack any logic.

P.S. Domino Designer 8.5.1 - 8.5.2.

Consistent boolean values in @Formula and LotusScript

:Domino Designer
: lotusscript, @formula
Slawek Rogulski8874 - 20 2007 / (3)
Basically I would like these to be true:
    @True = True
    @False = False
So that when I set
    Flag := @True
I can do this:
    if Flag then doSomething else doSomethingElse
and vice versa.

Remove system error "Invalid Selection" from lotusscript function PickListCollection

:Domino Designer
: lotusscript, error
Erwin Heeren1182 - 07 2010 / (3)
When you use PickListCollection in LotusScript, you cannot handle the error "Invalid Selection" when the user does not select a document from the picklist view. The error message is redundant, because the developer can handle this situation using the returned (empty) document collection.

Autocomplete/Type-ahead for custom LotusScript classes

Vote here instead

When using custom classes integrate them into the existing autocomplete dialog.

Example class.
Public Class MyClass     Private param1 As String     Public Sub new(param1 As String)         Me.param1 = param1     End Sub     Public Property Get getParam1 As String         ...

Assume subscript 0 in when referencing variants

:Domino Designer
: lotusscript, variant, subscript
Rob Pinion136 - 16 2008 / (2)
In LotusScript, if a variant is referred to without a subscript, assume the default lower bound (0 or 1).  For example, to refer to the value in the FirstName field...

doc.FirstName would be treated the same as doc.FirstName(0)

This would be useful as follows:

if doc.FirstName = ...

Saving LotusScript without compiling

:Domino Designer
: lotusscript, designer
Claire Thibodeau89 - 13 2007 / (0)
A LotusScript agent can't be saved if there are any errors in the program.  This is nuts! I end up either working long after I had expected to, or copying the entire script into a text editor and saving it outside of Notes, only to drag it back in again ...
