Users are requesting to access their Quickr Places via the connector in the Notes Client first.
It should be exactly the same functionality as on Windows!! They need to open/send/save files from/to Quickr Places.
"Finder" is second!
When I copy & paste a document from an Explorer Window into a target within the Quickr Connector Window, and the same document already exists, it just overwrites the file (w/ a 'are you sure?' dialog, AFAIR).
According to the versioning principle, simply checking the new document in as ...
I would rather prefer Quickr save to/open from place support in the standard Windows Open and Save dialog boxes ad Microsoft did for SharePoint. It will automatically solve "Save to Quickr as PDF" issue and eliminate the need to support Office intergation for individual versions of the product.
Sync Folder (local) to Place would be nice Option to Work Locally/Offline regardless Browser need.
Note, this is a different concept of Domino OffLine services.
The new menu for Quickr Connector in Symphony is great!
As new feature i wish "Save in Quickr as PDF".
i've installed Quickr Connector 8.5 and try to open some dokumentes on Domino Quickr 8.2. All documents seems to work but sometimes i got error messages. in my opinon this was not tested by Lotus.
When downloading a file or just save a lokal file in a directory the windows dialog doesn't have the option to directly save in Quickr. Thus users have to pre save it on e.g. desktop and afterwards load it up to quickr.

When downloading large-files from quickr server via connector there is no status bar.
To users it seems, that nothing happens, although the file is beeing downloaded.
A status bar (percentage already loaded) would be very helpful.
The same with upload. When uploading large files there occurs a status bar. ...

Okay, Quickr is a web application. I know. But why it is not possible to have direct access to the Quickr databases & data with the notes client?

One of the many thoughs around information managament is helping find information one might not even know existed.Current implementation of connectors is having users select which places to add to their list manually. In other words users would have to check every now and then to see if new usefull ...
When "notifying" members of a place by email, the web address is sent to link to the document or page. Because Quickr is very slow outside of the LAN, it is difficult for folks offsite to get to documents. Connectors is much faster because it avoids the dreaded, lengthy, page ...
When sending an email with an attachment, offer a third option for creating a temp quickr only for the mail recipients.
For administration with quickr tool there should also be batch deletions or achive for this special quickr's !!
Today you can only save one attachment at a time to Quickr from a Lotus Notes email. Should be able to save multiple files at a time to Quickr if you want to bundle them into one Quickr "binder" or folder.
It works well, BUT WHERE THE HELL IS IT!
I just read the doc on Domino user because I felt too stupid not seeing the option to save files or attach links or anything in an easy and obvious fashion.
The Domino.Doc enabler at least came up in the save ...
Yup, that means support for all the same connectors as on Windows - Notes client, Sametime, Office/Outlook and Desktop/Finder. If you had to drop one, then I could understand losing the Office connector, but I think the other three are essential.
Enable history and a full path display for at least 10 places, to which a file was saved. Nowadays it displays only the last folder, even if the path is more complex.
