After working with Working Sets for a while (or trying to) the only conclusion I can come to is they are not at all designed for Notes. The original Eclipse/Java platform for which they appear to have been designed for does not translate at all well to Notes. There have been some great ideas already posted about some specific features of Working Sets but I am starting to think an entirely frsh approach is needed for DDE.
When I work on A Notes project all my design components are (usually) in a single NSF. So I don't need all the NSFs in my working set to be constantly recompiled. Just the one NSF I have open.
When I first open DDE I dont need DDE to process all the databases in my current woirking set.
I dont need every new database I open to be added automatically added to my current working set.
I dont need to see compile errors for every NSF in my working set, just the current one.
It would be nice to tag working sets as dev QA prod etc and then have a filter to look at a specific environment.
I should be able to drag/drop to arrange my icons in a specific order
