Quickr and Sametime are some of the cutting edge technologies that IBM offers. Back in 2002, one of the cutting edge configuration changes with Domino included Internet Site documents. But Quickr and Sametime aren't supported by these.
This is related to my LTPA token idea - but without Internet sites support, these two products can't begin to support non-standard named LTPA tokens or tokens shared in an Internet sites document with already established Domino servers.

Yes, this is ridiculous.
Because I can't user Internet site documents, it costs more money to get additional hardware and I give more money to Microsoft for another OS copy, this doesn't matter I suppose it just means Microsoft get more money for their operating system which they can use to improve exchange and sharepoint to compete against IBM.

YEAH! We host Quickr for many customers. But just on one internet domain. :-(

It is not only cost. There is another technical issue, too, without Internet Sites:
Only with Internet Sites you can define "Override session authentication" rules. That would be needed to define basic authentication for Quickr's RSS feed URLs to make them useeable in external feed readers, when session authentication has been enabled generally.

I use Internet site documents for cache-control and header tags for gzip compression on my web servers. I want to be able to use the same SSO ltpa Token for web servers and sametime and quickr. But Nooooooo, there are separate SSO documents for Internet Sites versus non-Internet Sites.

If sametime runs on a domino server you can use the notes.ini parameter ST_TOKEN_TYPE=STLtpaToken to configure the SSO Token you want to use for login.
So you can configure SSO between your domino websites and sametime.
