We need a Quickr Utility Express Server license
Use this IdeaSpace to post ideas about Quickr.
Lets face it, the Quickr Extranet pricing is insane for the SMB businesses out there. $30k per 100 PVUs!
We need a Quickr equivilent to Domino Utility Express. Somewhat cheaper and way more accessible for the smaller shops.

A related issue is that, unlike the base Domino license, Quickr is licensed by "Authorized User", which means anonymous users must also be licensed.
A cheaper Quickr Utility Express license that allowed open anonymous access would be very useful for situations such as publishing read-only information to an HR intranet site. In turn this would show users the value of Quickr and have them asking for full licenses so they can use the tool for their teams.

I'm not entirely sure "anonymous users" can be licensed. Does the license require one license per IP address?
(21 May 2009)
@2 Hopefully not. If I am a mobile user connecting from multiple sources (many ip addresses) and need a license for each, the product will not even be considered.

Read only access = free,
Read Write = named user = licensed
Also, having it run on Foundations would be great.

How do you check who the 'named users' are that are using QuickR when there are LDAP users, Domino users and Local users? In an environment where Owners can give access to just about anybody, how do you check if you have enough licences?
