Creating a toolbar button with @Command( [DesignReplace] ) saves a few keystrokes at best.  Wouldn't it be nice to be able to replace a database design using formula code or LotusScript?  I know that the Designer task accomplishes this, but what about those times when you don't have access to the Domino server console, or don't want to bother a Domino administrator?

This is possible if you don't mind dabbling in the Notes C API (see here: { Link } - but I agree, it's a popular enough feature that it should be part of the NotesDatabase class.
