There are ways to access MySQL using DECS, but a formalized approach would be nice. Making Notes the control language instead of PHP would be sweet for a lot of apps.
Actually, to add to my comments above, it'd be sweet if there was a way to encapsulate a MySQL database inside an NSF so the MySQL app could be replicated. Maybe that's science fiction, but it'd be sweet.
ODBC support within DECS, LC LSX and LEI is typically slow and has limited functionality in comparison to the natively supported RDBMS currently availab.e
