This could help expand the adoption of LC LSX, DECS and LEI if they supported more open source RDBMS.

There are ways to access MySQL using DECS, but a formalized approach would be nice. Making Notes the control language instead of PHP would be sweet for a lot of apps.

Actually, to add to my comments above, it'd be sweet if there was a way to encapsulate a MySQL database inside an NSF so the MySQL app could be replicated. Maybe that's science fiction, but it'd be sweet.

It's not clear to me, what level of support you are asking for. Just "Native" drivers for LEI / DECS / LC LSX?

MySQL is currently supported through ODBC drivers.

I thought he meant "in addition to" DB2. If Notes integrated with SQL Server and MySQL the way it does with db... it would be golden.
