Make it possible to change the font color or background color of a field using @Formula.
You could for example warn the user if a required field is empty by changing the backgroundcolor,
Color formula:
red := 255:150:150;
black := 0:0:0;
@If( fieldvalue=""; red:black )

I'd like to be able to change any text attribute with formulae

I'd also like to be able to copy and paste colours instead of having to remeber the rgb value and its position in the pallette

Why settle for @Formula, why not allow LotusScript to be used also just as SSJS can be used to programatically set the style attributes in Xpages.

If you put the field in a cell, you can 'compute' the background for that cell. I've done this already, based on the content of fields.

@3 Nice idea; I will give it a try.
