I think it will be helpful if the Database Open dialog box allows Replica ID also. That way we don't have to type the notes url on the notes client address bar to open the db. |

A developer can easily build a smarticon for that so I think it is not worth the effort as I do not expect any enduser to try this.

Some server may have also multiple replicas on the same server (for RAM performance, backups, etc...), so a simple REPLID would only cause confusion and incoherence.

@2: It wouldn't cause confusion and incoherence if it threw a reasonable error dialog like: "Multiple databases match that replica id. Please select from the following choices.

Or use your catalog.nsf to open the database by replica ID.
