All labels for Buttons, ViewHeaders, TableTabs should be computed for display ( Client and Web ).
This would make it easy to develop multi language applications without using the Global Workbench.
You can change the label for a view action at runtime but you cannot change the view headers label.

I'd be thinking along the ideas of a language bundle. Enter the alias for the label and the language bundle maps the alias to the required value. It could be made a core feature that could work in options lists etc. Possibly even working in views.

That reminds me...computed view column labels would also be great for those internationalizing Notes apps.

I second this idea, which is not only relevant for multi language applications. I need it in my products to allow each installation to select the titles that fit their terminology. E.g. some installations prefer the term Customer, others Client and others Member. Why can't I make a Notes button containing the proper term? (it's so easy in HTML) .

Also need option for fields with type "Dialog list" to define Title and prompts from default "Select keyword", "Keywords", "New keyword" to application/language specific.
