Hi,

we have some user which creates some mailrules to move mails into folder... BUT after some weeks/month/... they remove the folder for some reasons.

The rule is still active and produce some errors (and took CPU time and much more)...

I would like to have a change in the code which will deactivate such a rule when a folder is removed/renamed.

I'm not keen on anything that silently changes the behaviour of another component

I would think that a warning -this will break your rule XXXX- coupled with code in the rules to check for the presence of a folder before moving items to it, should be enough

@Chris,

my idea was more like "There exist a active rule, which need this folder. When you remove this folder this rule will be deactivated. Do you wish to process?"
