Currently opera reports Javascript errors when you open DWA light and does not display any messages. Also DWA uses internal -moz* CSS properties.

Please at least test DWA light in Opera and make it useable.

Thanks!

Jan - what kind of corporate use are you seeing for Opera?

My own: I use opera as my only web client (private and corporate: I've installed it on my local drive) and hate it when some sites just don't go half an hour to check their code in different browsers. Just use standards and it should work with the benefit, that you don't even need two different implementations (as in dwa full *and* light. Safari will probably add a third, at least in forms8.nsf are already some forms for safari)... There is probably just one small error to make it work like in FF.

Just to make it clear: I don't want perfect or even supportet, just that there are no obvious errors because of some strange implementation details. Same as the usual beta web2.0 stuff: it's not supported, but have fun anyway.

I tried to hack forms8.nsf, but this DB is just $/+#&$~: unreadable and undebugable JS code and I don't even have an idea *how* that code is generated: changing some of the forms seems to have no effect. If someone has an idea how to hack this DB, just drop me an email: jasc@gmx.net

I just don't see this as relevant enough to spend dev cycles on. Sorry. :-\

Jan, that's because DWA is not developed using Domino Designer. In theory, I'd definitely like to see support for Opera here, but in reality I'd give too many other issues a higher priority.

I would think a more relevant question is if DWA can conform to web standards. Then it's upto Opera to fit into that protocol. Besides, DWA is corporate email and I doubt thre is anyone (of meaningful corporate size) that use Opera commercially.....Sorry, gonna have to demote this one.
