When trying to sell Notes/Domino it'd be really helpful if the standard templates (Discussion/DocLibrary/Journal/Team Room, etc.) were updated to a modern Look & Feel and looked/worked work consistently between the Notes client and web. Maybe a little ajax-y?

This screenshot may be in my UI Worst Practices Session at Lotusphere :-)

8-) It may or may not be, but >I< will. I'll be the pale guy with the glasses, thinkpad and smartphone.
3) Ben Langhinrichs7009 (05 Dec 2007)
I'll be the tall guy cringing in the back as you show off some of my UI fiascos.

I'll be the one on the other side of the Atlantic, not getting to go to Lotusphere yet again :(

Somehow I always associated the TeamRoom with a Tea Room. Don't know why. An empty Tea Room, by the way ...

So true So true!!! IBM must realize that standard templates SELL software.

Little by little (as much as we designers woudl like to do them all at once.)
You'll get a beautiful new Journal (also renamed Notebook so that it's the same term as in Domino Web Access) in 8.5.

IBM Lotus is working on one or more updates of the standard templates; I cannot say exactly when they will be delivered.

Status changed to In Progress

Ed B. made a comment in a webcast a few months ago that these were coming with a future release. I believe for teamroom, they're looking at the OpenNTF template.
