Since R5 the Home page was added to Notes (replacing the workspace) and many orgs deployed a corporate home page with news feeds and links to commonly used applications (often roles-based). Users are in the habit of pressing escape to close windows to get back to Home, but with 8, your home page now closes as well resulting in a temporary user "malfunction" until they find their way  "Home" again.

Let's avoid this unnecessary disorientation by making the navigation of Notes 8 truly backward-compatibility with 5, 6, and 7. An Admin policy would be nice, but not required to control if the Home page is closeable or "pinned" open so you cannot close it with the escape key.
