I want a property on databases that can prevent users from replicate local databases in to a server if it’s long time since they replicated.
This to prevent that old and deleted documents reappear in a database if a user has been away from the office for some months.

or the option to determine how long it has been since last replication in order to force replication, or prevent editing of a db etc

Good option,

in the meanwhile as a workaround:

Good idea,

I have the same problem and I don't know how to solve it.

This doesn't happen often but when it does it is a mess. Users turn off replication to a database and don't use it for months. They then turn it on (or our help desk replicates all of their databases when they get a new machine) and all of a sudden we have thousands of records that don't belong there.

Disabling replication is one thing, but then? I think the user needs some feedback why a database stops replicating.
What do you think about retrieving a new replica of that database?

Rather than being a property on a database, make it a desktop policy setting.

We requested this feature via IMB PMR 57612 010 678 back in 2006 and got this sad message back: "Development are considering this to be an Enhancement Request and have no plans to implement."

Our 5000 users have used Notes intensively worldwide for 14 years, and we have seen a lot of "ghost documents" (reappearing old deletions) caused by "orphan replicas", which always is causing a lot of confusion, frustration and loss of confidence. Incredible that IBM can not understand and fix this as requested.
