There is currently no way, without programming something, to verify that the quota settings of cluster replicas are the same.  If we can identify where cluster replicas have differant quota's, either with cluster analysis or an Admin view, then we could correct inconsistancies.  Alternatively, if there was a way to designate a primary server and "push" the cluster settings to all cluster replicas, that would be convenient.

I like the setting idea, perhaps it could be like the "Enforce Consistant ACL" setting in a database. For example, "Enforce consistant DB settings across clusters".

I'm not a full time admin, or a part time admin for that matter, but IMHO it seems to me clustered databases should be identical in every way by default, and the system should keep them that way. Differences should be exceptions. By analogy, replication is fundamentally the process of keeping two copies of the same data in sync and that is what replication does by default. Only explicit exceptions change default replication behavior.

I also feel this should be extended to clustered servers. They should be identically configured by default and the system should keep them that way unless explicit exceptions are made.
